First of all : The french films
One that may not be the easiest to understand because it is full of wordplay and jokes but that is really funny and a part of French culture is a movie by the famous Alain Chabat, “Astérix et Obélix : Mission Cléopatre”. There are many movies with Astérix and Obélix but this one is, I think, a cult film and really famous in France. It deals with the two Gaulish men, Astérix and Obélix, who have to go to Egypt to help an Egyptian friend to build a palace. I am not going to say more because we don’t like spoilers, but if you’re already an advanced french speaker, you have to watch it without hesitation! And even if you start learning French you can still watch it, it will help you understand better how french people speak.
Second of all :
I want to talk to you about the trilogy “Les bronzés”. It is three movies about a group of friends who reunite with each other during holidays. The first one is quite old now, but it is still really funny and entertaining. Like the first movie I told you about, it is a comedy so you’re sure to have a great time by watching it. The actors in the movie are all really famous in France because they’re actors who acted in drama and did a lot of movies. I can only encourage you to watch this movie!
The last one :
Is a more serious movie but a really good one, it is “La Môme”. It is the story of Edith Piaf, who is played by the famous Marion Cotillard. This movie tells the story of the life of the famous french singer Edith Piaf. Thanks to this movie, Marion Cotillard has received an Oscar and Cesar as best actor. It is a really interesting and moving movie that I can only advise you to watch, thanks to that you will learn more about French culture and music.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
