Darwin

Dynamic courses in the relaxed atmosphere of a unique setting : Darwin

Our school is located among the warehouses of a former military barracks in Bordeaux,in an alternative space called Darwin eco-system. The spot on the bank of the Garonne River is shared by 100 companies and 30 associations united around common goals: the reduction of their companies’ environmental footprints, creating new economic synergies and promoting urban cultures.

Darwin is the perfect place to study and enjoy the French way of life. During the break, sit at one of many outdoor wooden benches in an atmosphere that clicked with convivial industriousness. You’re starving ? The largest organic restaurant in France is in Darwin. Tuck into delicious vegetarian burgers while sipping a Darwin beer. After the courses, walk around inside Darwin to discover its ivy coated stone buildings lacquered with a rainbow of graffiti and have fun in the XXL indoor skate and bike park. A variety of cultural, artistic and social events are also organised in Darwin all year long. The most famous event being the Climax Festival, an eco-focused music, arts and culture festival.

We also offer you personalized services in case you need support during your stay in Bordeaux.

Our French language school is located in the heart of Bordeaux. All the accommodation is accessible within 30 minutes by bus, tram, bike or on foot.

Linguistic and cultural immersion in combination with internships

As we provide continuous training for French companies, we can offer linguistic and cultural immersion in combination with internships. The internship is an opportunity to further practise your business French in real life conditions and add a new international experience to your CV.

If you come from a European country, we can also help you to find an alternance training which will enable you to obtain a recognised professional qualification in France.

Upon your arrival you will also be given a welcome folder with your schedule and useful information about the town and of the region. We will support during the entire programme. An internal tutor who will assist you. Social and cultural activities will be organized throughout your stay.

As an Erasmus + partner we are willing to work on any European project that has a strong relationship with language and learning outcomes including ECVET framework.
